Lithgow 1944 make. Near new condition, with some storage and handling marks. Marked ‘sold out of Service.’ This one was sold well before the 1988 clean out. Original factory timber with no signs of wear, other than handling and storage dents as shown indicates this was about new and used lightly by a careful owner. No damage to butt plate, so no drill. Barrel presents as new, maybe 200 rounds been fired, best guess. Stores packing grease still evident. A fine specimen of a first-quarter 1944 rifle. Included: canvas body cover, web sling, pull through and Bakelite oiler and 4 charger clips. Oiler is original wartime manufacture. Plenty of detailed photos for genuine interested buyer.
