I wanted a rifle capable of shooting Hornady's high BC 53gr V-MAX at over 4000fps so I necked down a Lapua 243Win case to 224 with a Redding full length die, seated a bullet and had Manson Precision make me a custom chamber reamer from it. The action is a blueprinted Remington 700 RH SA with a G serial number from back when Remington made great actions. The barrel is a 1 in 12 twist 28" stainless Krieger with Remington varmint profile. The trigger is a Timney. The scope is a Weaver Grand Slam 6-20x44 from back when they were quality optics made in Japan. It is secured with Leupold rings and a one piece base. The stock is an HS Precision with full length alloy bedding block. 47.5gr of AR2209 was sufficient and it shoots flat with no holdover past 300 metres and no pressure signs. The rifle has only been fired 126 times with plenty of time to cool down between shots because it was only used for very long range shots on small furry animals. Nothing needed to be shot twice. It has sat in my safe for several years and comes with Redding full length, type S neck and micrometer seating dies, 98 formed Lapua cases and 440 projectiles.
