I’m selling my collectable WW2 Walther P38 pistol. It is in very good condition with German markings and matching serials. It was made by Metallwarenfabrik Spreewerk and the ‘a’ prefix serial number indicates that it was manufactured between February and April 1945, so it was probably only in service for a couple of months or even weeks. The German markings I see are two waffenampts on the RH side of the slide & another on the frame, and between the waffenampts on the slide is the parteiadler eagle over the oak wreath. The manufacture markings are the model & the Spreewerk code (cvq) on the slide, 9 in a circle on the frame (I assume it indicates the calibre) and a small cross with what looks like P, B, and 2 in it on the frame in front of the slide release. There are no rework stamps on the trigger guard. There are small/faint Birmingham proof marks on the barrel, slide and frame with their style indicating that it must have passed through Britain between 1954 and 1989. The bore is bright with strong rifling, I put 10-15 rounds through it after I got it twenty odd years ago and using 124gr factory ammunition it actioned and shot well. It comes with a spare magazine. The buyer will be required to pay any transfer and shipping costs - unfortunately I’m not able to ship to WA. Text me on 0424096998 for photos or call on 0296243936 with any questions (OK to mail me through Used Guns). Bill
