Genuine Soviet Mosin Nagant Model 91/30 sniper rifle manufactured in 1944 by the Tula Arsenal. This rifle is one of an estimated 24,362 PU snipers produced by Tula in 1944, and is in phenomenal shape. The rifle's action, bolt, floorplate, and buttplate all share the same serial number (all stamped with '–î–ú1010' or '1010'). The barrel shank also bears the correct sniper-grade proof mark (the letters ('CH'') stamped above the date and Tula factory marking. Additionally, the finish of the metalwork and woodwork remain in excellent condition. The rifle's barrel is in very good condition, with only minor wear present. Has a matching PU 3.5√ó21 scope made by Factory #357 in Omsk, Siberia in 1944. The scope has the serial number '–ë-45713' stamped beneath a hammer and sickle along with the text '91/30'. However, the mount does not appear to be an original Soviet production. Also comes with a canvas sling and scope cover.
