This hammer type double barrelled 12G shotgun was manufactured in Birmingham England in 1934 and is in surprisingly good condition. The hinge mechanism is firm, the barrels are very good internally, the timberwork is free of cracks,the numbers all match and the hammers function flawlessly. The left barrel is marked as full choked, proof marks are intact, it is marked as nitro proofed on both steel barrels and max shot weight is marked at one and one eighth ounces.The gun is in original condition, free of any rust or pitting and displays its natural patina with its natural patina. A great hammer gun for the collector or discerning shooter.
