Comment: J Stevens Arms and Tool Co. of Chicopee Falls, Mass. USA. Made pre 1920. The model is the Crackshot 26. This boys rifle is in .22 calibre, a single shot takedown model. Must use low powered cartridges considering its age. The Patent date is 1913. In 1920 Savage bought the company and replaced Arms & Tool with just Arms Co. There were never any factory serials numbers. Serial now T105264. Production ceased 1939. Barrel has been fitted with new liner in 2023.
