The rifle was purchased brand new from Cleaver Firearms in 2018, it is a James River Rifle Co. rebuild of a Remington 1903-A3 chambered in 30-06 with a 5 shot capacity non-detachable magazine, it was manufactured may 1943 and had a new match barrel fitted along with the other refurbished parts. It has fired about 150 rounds at a bench rest range and was thoroughly cleaned after each range trip, the rest of its life was spent in the safe. There are some small marks on the wood stock from storage and there is some damage to the metal band that holds the front sight to the barrel, this damage was there when it was originally purchased. The bore of the barrel is in good condition and as far as I can see there are no observable signs of pitting or damage.
