Winchester 94 Discovery 2 Australian Bicentennial 22LR commemorative rifle, This Discovery is the 1828-year number in the series. The Australian Discovery rifles were imported into Australia in the 1980s as a collaborative work celebrating the Australian Bicentenary of 1988 by the noted firearm engravers Jeff Brown and Phil Vinnicombe, there were 200 rifles commissioned for the project each rifle bearing date from 1788 to 1988 this praticular rifle is marked 1828 and appears to be in as new unfired condition.
