Very nice early Tikka rifle, the M76 is the same as the early M55 models. Tikka changed the model name to M55 later in the production. This is an early rifle with the factory “Bofors barrel steel”. The rifle has the mechanical sako style blade ejector. Super slick action, with a nice crisp trigger. The woodwork is blonde typical of the early rifles, minor handling marks. The metalwork and bluing are still excellent. The highlight is a mint bore with no wear or corrosion, indicating the rifle has only seen limited use. Bolt face is clean with no gas pitting. These rifles are known for their accuracy and long service life due the quality of the barrels and hardness of the steel. IMHO these are one of the best sporting rifles you can use, Overall, I have graded the rifle very good overall due to the minor handling marks. You don’t often see these rifles in this condition, Included are direct mounted german eaw 30mm rings. The price includes post except for WA and other remote locations
