Here is a nice example of a BSA no1mkIII* stamped 1919 manufactured with defense marking D^D and was an FTR stamped rifle as well with receiver stamped MA/51 on left band. Receiver Bolt and nose cap all match but Barrel does not as has had another barrel fitted. Has a good Bore 7/10. Headspace is good and rifle has been fully serviced by the gunsmith ready to go. couple of negatives for the collector are, the nose cap has been opened up around the barrel muzzle to probably free float the barrel more for accuracy and timber has had some sanding done on left side to fit aperture sight at some stage as was probably used as a target rifle.
