Beretta 411E. Beautiful Italian made side by side ejector shotgun by Paul Beretta in 1951. Handles beautifully. Side plated box lock, hand engraved rose and scroll type silver finished action. All fences and metalwork hand engraved. Excellent condition for its age. Screws are all un molested, locks up tight as a drum. Seen very little use and is the best condition one of these I've seen. All forend, barrels and action numbers match. Barrels have original bluing and front bead and are both clean, bright with no pitting or rust. Chokes marked full and full (both marked 17.4mm). Ejectors work perfectly and are well timed. I bought it about 18 months ago to try to make up a composed pair, but I haven't found another one in a similar condition. I've not fired it in all that time so am moving it on. Previous owner has had a pachmyer pad tastefully installed instead of the original hard plastic. Otherwise all appears original and excellent condition for its age. If you like beautiful shotguns that just come up and point exactly where youre looking, this will not disappoint. If you wanted something like one of these made today I don't know how much it would cost you. A lot. It's just a lovely thing.
