Comment: An excellent example of an FN Herstal Belgian made Browning B125 “Special Game” Field Gun with swan bow stock, - proofed in 1983. This Gun is in 12 gauge, with 28 inch barrels & fixed ¾ (improved modified) & ¼ (improved cylinder) chokes. Bores are bright & smooth. Rib is 6mm vented, Right Hand stock 14¼ inch, drop at comb 1½ inch, drop at heel 2 & 9/32 inch. Weight 3 Kg. This Gun has automatic ejectors, (ejects spent shells, presents unused cartridges), - & has a single selective trigger & the safety catch. The top lever is still to the right, locks up tightly & the general condition of the metal work & timber work can only be described as excellent, - there is evidence of use, but not a flaw anywhere apart from thinning of the barrel bluing where the forearm slides forward to break the Gun down. This Gun presents superbly. Etching /Engraving signed by S. Devaux. This Gun still has the original Browning butt plate fitted & has not been modified in any way. I am selling this Gun because I do not want to bastardise it by changing it to suit my left handedness. It is too good for that.
