British George IV 1822 Infantry Officer’s sword with non-regulation 1903 style curved blade, Sword is in good condition for being almost 200 years old, retains original gilt with George IV royal cypher, Hilt and grip components tight zero movement in the blade. Folding guard works as intended, fish skin has a couple of small wear areas, cable wrap tight. Engraving on blade with initials S.H.F, sheaths and un-sheaths without issue, small repair to scabbard drag marked E.BH.
