Here is a nice BYF (Mauser orberndorf) 1942 Nazi marked K98 with a sort after laminate stock paired with a Voere 22lr single shot caliber conversion kit to shoot as 8x57 or 22lr. Has a Good+ bore (7/10) for the K98 and the Voere conversion tube has an excellent bore. The K98 is non matching numbers but has been professionally taken down, boiled out, cleaned and serviced to preserve it for many more years to come. These are becoming extremely hard to find in good condition and this Voere conversion tube is the only one I have seen. The Voere tube replaces the K98 bolt creating a small single shot reciever with its own bolt and a long tube is a precision fit in the 8x57 rifiling holding it accurately in place to allow the use of the k98 trigger and sights. The tube is post war production based on the original Erma 22lr conversion design. It is very cool to be able to shoot your k98 as a 22lr.
