Steyr SSG, 7.62mm NATO, VTF 1984. Fitted with a Swarovski ZFM 6X 42mm issue ‘scope mounted in Steyr factory 26mm QD mounts. ‘Scope is clear and has bright optics, elevation and windage dials move freely and correctly. Some mounting marks on ‘scope body where owner had used a rubber sealing compound on rings, some small flakes of the original enamel have peeled off. From ‘scope tube. The barrel is in very good condition with strong sharp rifling, barrel crown, throat and leade are very good, 6 to 7/10 condition. The owner routinely shoot 4 to 5” groups at 300m using 155 grain NRAA target ammunition. The bolt face is in good condition with no cap erosion, the bolt and metal work are in very good condition, showing only moderate wear. This SSG has been retro fitted with an after-market metal trigger guard and comes with 2x ARC and 2 Accurate Mag 10 round magazines. Also supplied is a Rusan Picatinny ‘scope rail for use with other ‘scope sights fitted with Picatinny rings as well as a set of ‘Lynx’ B-Square Steyr-Mannlicher 1” ‘scope rings.
