Cased Colt 1849 Pocket pistol Cal 31 BP in fair condition. Circa 1853 Very early pistol in only the 4th year of production 6 inch barrel, 5 shots, and displays approx 70% of stagecoach scene. Numbers match except for the wedge and much silver remains to frame. Timber slightly bruised minor chip to front left grip Presents as being reblued a long time ago. Considering its age, this must not be fired. Action functions correctly on 4 of 5 cylinder rotations. Sold as a display item only. The pistol is original, the case includes a period flask; the nipple/screw driver tool is a repro. The bullet mould is .36 calibre. Comes in a well presented Fred Breakwell case with loading and cleaning instructions within the lid. Key for lock included. Empty Eley primer tin.
