Regrettable sale, the Sauer 202 is perhaps the best rifle that Sauer ever made and this is a beautiful example with stunning walnut timber with fiddleback accents. I purchased this rifle about a year ago but don’t feel comfortable taking it hunting with such nice timber. I’ve only shot off the bench sighting it in. Groups sub MOA. The action on this rifle is the smoothest I have ever handled. Everything is in excellent condition on this rifle, save for a ding in the wood on the edge of the pistol grip. After I purchased it I picked up 2 spare mags ($220-240 each) one black and the other is a grayish color, these are really hard to find and are included in the sale. Also comes with a Sauer hard carry case. Scope is a really nice Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44 and I’ve already had the custom turret done to match my 300wm 175gr hand loads, I also have the standard turret to go with the rifle. The EAW rings came with the rifle and are pretty amazing, they are a lever quick release to pop the scope off and on in seconds whilst maintaining zero, i since discovered that these rings are very expensive.
