Upgrades include: WC action tune kit (WC trigger bar and trigger spring installed. WC skeletonized hammer. WC steel guide rod. Beretta extended magazine release. Hogue G10 'piranha' grips. If you're thinking why get an A3 vs A4, really the only thing I can say is it's the only Beretta that has an upswept de-cocker/safety which helps prevent accidental activation of that mechanism when operating the slide. Other than some scuff marks on the grip screws everything else adds up to one of the finest pistols you can own with great value. I have fired over 1000 rounds all in all (String barrel pull through and re-application of oil at friction points between range days) with not a single mechanical stoppage requiring an immediate action drill.
