Beautiful old Winchester model 54 action and stock. Manufactured in 1934. The model 54 is the precursor to the legendary modal 70. Three position wing safety, nice dark walnut stock and serrated steel buttplate. The bolt face measures for 220 swift and was probably chambered in this cartridge originally but should work for the 308 family as well. Stock is factory notched for Lyman 48W peep sight that often came standard and action drilled and tapped for bases. Action is smooth as silk! Price plus post. A great basis for your dream build!
