Early 1937 S/42 Code Mauser Oberndorf K98. In good condition. Barrel and action matching numbers. Bolt in very good condition 7.5 out of 10 bore. So definitely a shooter. No serial number prefix so a very early K98, manufactured by the nazi's as part of their preparation for war. Appears to be a Russian captured K98 given the electro-stencilled 'matched' bolt number and laminate stock with matched butt stock number. No Russian capture X marking. Weimar eagle stamps but no nazi waffenampt because made before the war. Affordable pre-war K98 from the Mauser factory itself don't come along very often. Grab your piece of history. Buyer pays post.
