I'm offering for sale my beautiful Ruger #1 falling-block varmint rifle in the explosive .204 Ruger calibre. These guns were all essentially limited editions for their calibre. This one has taken its share of maurauding varmints on our farm but we now have livestock guardian dogs - i no longer need a dedicated varmint rifle and i am not "a collector." Walnut is very nice, as you can see. Has a small imperfection in bluing on one side of receiver as shown and a minor ding up top the wrist area as shown. I have installed a peep sight from Skinner of Montana and a ramp-style front sight so you can use it open with the peep or clamp a scope to the mount. The .204 Ruger is a tiny wind-bucking bullet that can fly dead-flat at 4,000 fps and is lethal on anything coyote sized, as i can attest. This rifle styled after the old Farquharson is an absolute joy to carry and shoot, certainly one of the most aesthetic rifles ever produced. I will throw in some rounds, small rifle primers and i believe i also have some brass.
