A classic Tikka, this M55 is in good condition despite its age and some wear on the outside. Inside, it is very clean and tidy, with good bore and rifling, a lovely inert trigger pull, functional steel magazine with firm spring and good optical quality from the fixed-power Tasco scope. Even the ventilated recoil pad is still soft and pliant. The walnut stock has nothing more than minor marks in the timber, and there's not many of them. From its condition, it's obvious it has been farmer's rifle, carried regularly in the passenger side of the ute on his rounds and only fired when required. If you're a fan of these legendary Tikkas, this one gives you the chance to clean it up and have an outstanding example, but it could just as easily be used as is. It is priced to suit and won't disappoint.
