Up for sale is a barely shot and very hard to come by Ruger 96/17 custom. Managed to source an immaculate 96/17 a few years back and turned it in to a tack driver! Works include: - 10/22 17hmr Lothar Walther stainless barrel - fluting (straight 6 flutes - threaded and capped muzzle with (1/2*28 + aluminium thread protector) - Black cerakote - 18” - Trigger has been lightly polished for smoother functioning, but cycles flawlessly! - Extractor cut in the barrel so it still has double extractors for perfect feeding in/out. - Custom CNC’d Picatinny rail - 6 x 10rd magazines with two alangator tri mag holders. - Still have the original barrel and clamp. The build took 2 years with waiting and work. In that time I lost access to the property I shot on and had kids. Has been shot once at the range to zero. It is an absolute laser, and cycles very fast! Bolt action accuracy with semi-auto speed. Original barrel had about 150rds through it from the previous owner. I never shot through it but it’s clean. New barrel has had 50rds through it. Freshly oiled every month. Price is plus post and the scope is not included. Price is negotiable within reason, the rarity is significant and it is flawless!
