This scope is a great choice for hunting big game due to its very wide FOV allowing for off-hand shooting with both eyes open. The German No. 1 reticle with tapered posts naturally directs the eye to the centre of aim just like an apature sight. The reticle positioned in the first focal plane remains constant in size relative to the dialled magnification with the added advantage of standing out in dim light conditions. The scope would be a great choice for a classic big bore safari rifle.
