Original Remington 700 M24 rifle and scope. (NOT A CLONE) (NOT a rebuild program rifle) (NOT a late production promotion rifle) This is an original early second contract rifle. It was made in the original dedicated M24 production wing of Remington. This was when quality control was high and Remington was still Remington. The original production line had a dedicated team of gunsmiths etc. Proprietary tooling for making “blueprinting” the rifles. I acquired the rifle new and it is still in excellent condition. I have cherished this rifle and used it sparingly to keep the round count low. It has been used in rotation/cycle with the rest of my collection. Only 260 rds have been fired. All factory match ammunition. It is an incredible shooter, amazing accuracy and consistency. My best long range groups have been shot with this rifle. Always carefully cleaned and stored. The bore and bolt face are still in mint condition. The rifle has a few minor handling marks on the exterior. Overall a great true mil spec rifle that is very hard to get in Australia (rare) and is very collectable. This is a rare chance for the enthusiast or collector.
