The barrel was removed from a Winchester mod 70 pre 64. It has done very little work and apart from an external rub mark it is almost excellent condition. I can provide providence of this barrel. It still has the original open sights. It would certainly be worthwile putting your pre 64 back to original if it has been fitted with a non genuine barrel.
