The interesting thing about this rifle is it could be restored to military configuration with matching numbers: action, barrel, bolt and rear sight all match. But as it is, it’s a very nicely customised Lithgow sporter. The stock is well above the usual standard, as can be seen, and is in very good condition. The action is largely original, with original rear sight; it has not been drilled or tapped for scope mounting. The bluing is good with its original military finish. The bolt has been polished, which sets off the rest of the rifle very well. Not knocks or dings in the magazine. Bore is a little rough but looks quite shootable
