Earlier series CZ 452 American with nicer Turkish dark walnut stock and polished/gloss blued receiver. Later on, CZ's cost-saving efforts introduced beechwood stocks and mismatch-looking matt finish receiver on gloss blued barrel and thus the earlier models are arguably more aesthetically appealing. Much has been written about the superior accuracy provided by the fixed barrel ( as opposed to screw-in ) and build quality of the CZ 452s; many articles pop up in Google search, including very complimentary reviews by Australian gun writers in ASJ/SSAA articles. In particular, one contributor chose this model to use when competing in benchrest matches with very favourable results. Rifle advertised has been held as part of large Brno/CZ collection and is in unfired condition. Comes in factory carton ( bit tatty ) with the test target and bolt protector sleeve.
