For sale is a rare example of a Magazine Lee Metford Mk 1*. This is not a museum grade piece but an example for none the less if you don’t have one in your 303 collection.The butt is off a later MLE and the Metford barrel has long ago been replaced with a Lithgow unit. The forend is well worn but original. Top hand guard probably MLE. The bolt is all correct (unmatching) and it retains the correct mag cut off and 8 round magazine. Probably one for the beginner collector or for spares to complete a rifle. Price does not include fees and transfer but is slightly negotiable.
