Excellent No4 rifle. Fitted with a Lothar Walther barrel by D&C Precision in WA. These barrels are an exact dimensional copy made in Germany using modern metallurgy and manufacturing techniques. Machined using the original BSA drawings and has bayonet lugs and the correct profile. Still acceptable for Service rifle competition. Micrometer/Singer rearsight. Correctly stocked-up with unissued furniture. Special attention to the "draws" barrel perfectly centred in the forend and the stock exerts the correct 5lb of forend tip pressure on the otherwise floating barrel. Oil bottle and new pull-through in the buttstock trapdoor. Correct sling fitted. This rifle will produce 1-2 MOA groups when fitted with a gunsmith-free picatinny rail and scope. Perfect for Service shooting or hunting. I've been using 174gr FMJ's (replicating Mk VII ammo) with excellent results.
