This rifle is in immaculate condition. The metal finish is without fault, wood is 90% (just minor rub marks as per photos). As seen on bolt face, this rifle has only fired 100 rounds of 30-30 smokeless ammunition. As per manufacturers information, this rifle shoots standard smokeless 30-30 ammunition which is readily available. Can also shoot black powder if one wishes to. The barrel length is 28 inches. Well balanced, rifle is 7.9 pounds. Pedersoli rifles are known for excellent accuracy, this rifle fits that assessment. Factory features: -Colour case hardened receiver, butt plate. -Beautifully blued barrel, hammer and breech block. -Wrap around checkered forend. -Target muzzle crown. -Ability to accept a variety of tang sights, readily available in Australia. Other features: -Lyman blued steel folding adjustable rear sight. -One piece steel weaver base to accept a variety of peep sights or a scope of your choice, depending on your preference, eyesight etc. Fitted by outstanding Sydney gunsmith. Is screwed on so can be removed easily. Rear sight can be used easily while base is fitted. The action is wonderful to operate. Bank vault meets Swiss watch. Trigger is very nice (from factory).
