A nice example of a jungle carbine wood furniture has government broad arrow /I\ markings on butt and forend with embossed rack/serial numbers. Has the typical BSA, Shirley M 47c factory metal protection tip on the forend with slight surface rust, slight surface rust on the butt cap. Wood typical for the period during war service which is dark due to oiling in tropical climates slight minor dings as you would expect,the rubber shoulder pad is hard however still intact. If you're looking to refurbish a No5 jungle carbine or convert a No4 Lee Enfield as a tribute gun this would give an authentic feel to the piece. Extra photos available. Postage charges extra.
