Built in 1983, this rifle is likely to be the best example of a Mohawk that you will come across. I have inspected the bore with a bore scope and can guarantee that there is no pitting, corrosion or any other signs of wear. The muzzle still shows 100% blueing intact. The scope and mounts present in the same condition as the rifle and it’s likely that this rifle was initially sold with the setup that you see here. The Bushnell Scopechief is crystal clear quality optic made in Japan and is a perfect complement for this rifle. The scope is fitted with the ‘Command Post’ pop up reticle. Basically the scope has a cross hair reticle but there is a dial near the zoom control which activates the ‘Command Post’. Basically you can choose to shoot with a standard cross hair or a cross hair with a heavy vertical post to aid in brush and low light situations.
