Selling my 1902 Spandau Gew 98m. I bough this rifle as a place holder in my Mauser collection but am selling to fund the purchase of something else. 1902 produced Spandau Gewehr 98m. Imperial Gew 98 modernized/arsenal refurbished between the wars for the new s.S patrone round and bolt take-down discs. Rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, barrel, bolt latch, floor plate, trigger guard (arsenal renumbered), rear sight components and all timber/stock hardware. Rifle retains imperial markings/proofs along with interwar Riechswehr/early NSDAP era markings. I have not shot this rifle but bore looks very shootable with deep albeit dark rifling.
