This beautiful rifle was manufactured in 1920. Professionally reblued in the original way. Lyman peep sight probably fitted when rifle was purchased. The timber forend and stock have been coated with six coasts of Feast Watson French polish tinted walnut with high gloss finish, if a matt finish is preferred a wipe with steel wool will remove the gloss, but retain the depth of finish. The bore is perfect and all Winchester Marks have been reengraved on the barrel. A Reproduction Winchesterr rear Ladder Sight as manufactured by Pakenham Firearms has been fixed. This rifle looks just out of the box fully restored, tight action. I restored my first one in 1957.
