Stock escutcheon engraved "C F Roo'S Bethlehem" This rifle and its twin (serial number 34 for E C Roo'S) was featured in a story in South Africa's Magnum magazine. The stock has been broken though the wrist when the rifle was practically new and has been well repaired with a Selous style wrap around tin plate showing all the patina of a repair performed more than 120 years ago.
