It features a striking Rigby style American Cherrywood stock with prominent grain features and sharp hand cut chequering and in as new condition. Metalwork is beautifully polished then deep blued and really contrasts nicely with the stock colours. The action is the reliable time proven FN style mauser 98 that has been fitted with a Sako trigger with integral slide safety. Floorplate is hinged of course, and the mid weight sporter barrel has been fluted to provide a perfectly balanced carry rifle matched to this light recoil hard hitting calibre.
