7-300 Norm Improved 40 degrees, the Savage Special Service Rifle was a joint project between Accurate Mag and Savage to bid for the US Army to supply sniper rifles. The rifle has a 28 inch 1:8 twist Swan barrel which has only been run in and shot a couple of test groups, 43 shots in total shoots 195 EOL bergers sub half MOA at 3,146 ft/sec, comes with whidden dies, 100 ready to load fire formed cases from another barrel/gun. Also comes with the original factory 338 Norma barrel which is brand new and not been fired. These are very accurate rifles and have a reputation of being tac drivers. I have shot this calibre out to 3,219 m (2 miles) Only selling as I have 4 of the SSR and needing to move some on. More pictures available.
