Comment: I.Hollis & Sons box lock pigeon gun. 12G with 30” steel barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, choked approx full & full. Birmingham nitro proofed for 1 1/4oz. Bores are in good condition overall, free from bulges & dents, some fine shallow pits internally but still bright & shiny (photos of bores upon request). File cut top rib with I. Hollis& Sons. London the Challenge Special Pigeon" engraved in two sections. Action has been professionally tightened up locks up solid, crisp triggers & manual safety. Light coverage of scroll engraving to action with I. Hollis & Sons engraved to both sides of action. Barrels have been reblued and show no wear. Woodwork in good, sound condition overall, some light bruising & surface scuffs but free from repairs & cracks. Chequering to forend & bag grip is well defined. Heel & toe steel butt plates. 14” LOP & 7lb 8oz weight. #85544 In perfect working order and would be fantastic on fox drives or Vintage shoots.
