The good about this rifle is its a rarer 1st pattern BSA cadet with the ladder rear sight and desirable QLD issue marks. It has been professionally striped and boiled out to remove all rust areas and preserved and oiled for the future. action is in good condition (except for external receiver has pitting) with good extractor. The not so good about this rifle is unfortunately although this rifle has clear rifling present there is a section of internal pitting in the grooves a couple of inches long about halfway down the bore so listing the bore as poor for that reason.
