This No4 Mk1, 7.62 NATO conversion is stamped L8A4, however I do not believe this to be authentic. The previous owner was of the opinion that the L8A4 marking is correct, I have clear pictures so feel free to ask and make up your own mind. At a minimum this is an excellent condition Enfield No4 converted to 7.62 NATO with a Sterling mag and spring loaded ejector. It has a charger bridge guide for 7.62 strripper clips and comes with several clips. Timber appears as new, barrel is excellent. The rifle is sold as is, but I'd suggest getting us to service it if you're going to run it competitively as the trigger and probably the bedding could use some adjustment for optimal performance. The rifle presents beautifully.
