This is a Sako L61R action originally chambered in 25-06 and the barrel was worn out, now it has been re-chambered in 280 Ackley Improved. The bolt face shows the wear as you would expect from a rifle with a worn out barrel but the function of the action is fine and still smooth as all Sakos are. The barrel is a TSE that was fitted by the previous owner with the barrel and action cerakoted very nicely. This barrel has done 47 shots in total, only load development and then a few for fun. The wood stock shows some handling wear but still has great wood grain. The rifle comes as seen with Reloding dies and new 280AI brass. A really good gun to try out the 280AI on a budget. I am selling as I am clearing out the safe.
