Comment: W. Leech & Sons Island Lock hammer gun, in almost excellent condition. Circa early 1900's, this gun features factory nitro proofed Damascus 30" barrels, proofed for 32gm (1 1/8 oz) loads. ' 2.75" chambers, fully legal for Victorian Duck Hunting using conventional lead shot'. Appears to be choked quarter and full. Action is round. Very tight gun that has done very little work. Weighs in at 2.80kg or 6lb 2oz. Barrels are 1300gm or 2lb 14oz. LOP is 360mm or 14.25" to the front trigger, which is articulated. Has a decent straight hand stock. Barrels exhibit lovely browning to external surfaces. Damascus patterning is highly prevalent. Very rare to find a decent factory nitro proofed Damascus barrel gun in this condition.
