Winchester model 54 made in 1935. Precursor to the model 70. This one has excellent condition bluing To action and barrel with only a bit of wear/marks to the bottom metal. Timber also very good. Original Winchester sling swivels and serated steel buttplate intact. The bad news is this rifle is missing its bolt and rear peep sight. According to the old owner it was once chambered in .222 however it is chambered for the original hornet now and the barrel is the correct length and fitted to the stock. The side of the stock next to Action has been cut out at some stage and a new piece of timber refitted. Im happy to answer any questions you may have via text. Heaps of extra photos available via text too. A very rare old rifle that deserves to be resurrected.
