Beautiful 1951 JM Marlin “Waffle Top” in the great 30-30. The bore is in mint condition, and the rifle appears to have been used very little and has been well cared for. The stock wood has nice figure and is very nice to hold, slightly different shape to the later guns. The wood and metal are excellent with just a few very minor handling marks so I have graded the rifle very good overall. These early guns have cut rifling and are not micro groove button rifled which was introduced later. This fact alone makes them very sought after. The “Waffle Top” receiver also a sought after feature has wavy lines milled into the receiver top of it to cut glare. Additionally, no extra annoying safety devices that the later guns have. Overall, this is a very very nice scarce collectible Marlin. Price includes post except WA and NT by quotation.
