Looking for a suitably licenced dealer local to Sydney to collect seized longarm collection comprising approx. 20 items from Sutherland Police Station and to then execute transfer to a new owner. The person holding a dealer’s licence will be issued a letter of authority to collect items to take into their temporary possession whilst PTAs for transfers are arranged. It is preferred that a bulk discounted fee can be offered for collection, short term temporary storage and transfer as one individual lot or a discounted per firearm price to cap the expense of this exercise. This task would likely suit a retired dealer with spare time and with the appropriate storage space as opposed to a dealer shop with high overheads. If anyone has any advice or further suggestions to assist a fellow shooter who despite being a victim of domestic violence (as opposed to a perpetrator of DV) has indefinitely lost his firearms privileges and is concerned about the degradation of the collection whilst held by Police.
