Rarer .222 calibre M70 manufactured for just a few years. based on Winchester's long action receiver model 70 first introduced in 1935, the rifle advertised was manufactured in 1971 at Winchester's New Haven, Conn factory according to Winchester.com website. Overall good-very condition being 50 years old, particularly the stock which retains much of factory varnished stock finish and bears only minor surface marks without chips, splits, cracks, etc. Jewelled polished bolt body with clean face. Sale includes Redding .222 calibre dies and Jap-made Nikko-Stirling Continental 4-12x56 scope. Ideal rig for spotlighting. More pics can be emailed upon request.
