Comment: Stunning Custom CZ 550 magnum rifle in rare 435 PH Express (easy 375 H&H fire-formed to 435) shoots a 450 grain Woodleigh at 2300fps with Rel15, or 2250fps with 2209..( mild pressure). Exactly between a 416 Rigby and a 458 Lott.. but much less recoil, because of a perfect case/ bullet capacity. Hits harder than a 416 Rigby, penetrates more than a 458 Lott, in a lighter to carry rifle, that kicks less than those calibers. Fantastic on Buffalo, has often smashed through both shoulders.!! Similar to a 404 Jeffery, but takes 5 in the magazine. Barrel rebored by Sprinter, reamer made to my specs by Clymer in USA, chamber etc by Doug Barnes, WA, stocking by Gordon Cusens, Tas. This rifle has been used for guiding on Buffalo on/off over 15 years (minimal as I've enjoyed using many doubles and various other rifles). Rifle stock was refinished in 2018, action etc reblued by Rolf Bachnik in 2018... stunning again, appears as new and not used since. I am fussy, it has never been abused or neglected, the Bore is very good and will last another few thousand no problem. Comes with approx 4000 Woodliegh 450 grain FMJ and Weldcore SP.. with cannelure in the right place for perfect feeding and powder use. Weight is perfect just over 9 1/2lb, barrel 24", shallow V express rear sight, white front sight, barrel band sling attachment, 2 screw rear base, 2 cross bolts. Exceptional rifle, beautifully stocked and a perfectly balanced.
