Comment: Original JM stamped Marlin made in 1987, much better build quality than the Remington made version of Marlins which have the letters MR before the serial numbers. This rifle is in very good overall condition with minor signs of wear & a few light handling marks. This model with the pistol grip stock is much nicer to shoot than the straight stock version in terms of felt recoil, and the 22in barrel results in a lot less muzzle blast & recoil than the 18in barrel model. JM rifles are getting a lot harder to find. This rifle is not getting used as I am concentrating on pistol shooting. Plus post.
