This gun requires restoration. I believe it is around 100 years old and anyone who can identify stamps on gun can probably determine its age more accurately. The barrels are stamped nitro proof. Issues that require attention. My enquiries reveal that these barrels were attached using a method similar to a resin product. They will require to be stripped and silver soldered. Barrels are in very good condition for age, no bulges etc. The hinge pin assembly (hinge ) is badly worn. This block is a seperate piece and appears to have been designed to be sacrificial as it is soldered into place. Apart from that the wood is in good condition and am happy to provide photos to anyone interested. It has quite intricate scroll work. Has a gold inlay with initials of original owner. I have had a couple of quotes to repair and they are in the $1200-1800 range and have been told it is probably a $3000-00 gun when finished. My particular interest in not in these guns but I got it from a deceased estate and the price reflects what it owes me so the price is firm and the purchaser to pay transfer costs.
